Delivery

Please allow up to 4 weeks for your lampshade to be lovingly handcrafted and delivered within the UK.

International orders will also be dispatched within 4 weeks, but shipping time varies by country.

UK delivery is £4.95. For international delivery you can see costs here and please be aware that local customs and taxes are not included.

Fittings & Bulbs

Our shades are compatible with both British (BC) and European (EC) fittings. Please get in touch if you have a US lamp base so we can send the correct fitting.

The shade carrier included will work with either a table or a floor lamp. To use it, simply unscrew the metal ring on your base, position your shade carrier and replace the metal ring to secure it in place. Then simply sit your lampshade on top of the shade carrier. If your lamp base is smaller, click the plastic reducer into the shade carrier.

We also include a ‘spider fitting’ so you can use your lampshade as a ceiling pendant. Simply sit your lampshade on the spider fitting and attach it to your bulb holder. If your pendant is smaller, click in the plastic reducer.

How it's made

We’re a small, family-run UK business and every single Tinker & Tallulah lampshade is designed and handmade by us, Rach and Liam, in our Nottinghamshire studio. We’re passionate about our craft and committed to being as sustainable as we possibly can by only producing to order, minimising waste and creating quality lampshades that you can love for years to come.

Created by William Morris in 1876, the Snakeshead pattern was inspired by Indian textiles and features the flame-like blooms and striking foliage of the Snake’s Head Fritillary plant. We’ve handcrafted this lampshade using luxurious fabric from the Morris & Co. collection, and added our signature touch with decorative braiding and a tiered fringe in the same elevated palette of gold and pewter.

Snakeshead at a glance:

  • Morris & Co. Snakeshead fabric in Pewter/Gold
  • Gold and pewter braiding
  • Tiered gold fringing
  • Lined in white fabric
  • Works with table lamps, floor lamps and ceiling pendants (UK, EU, US)
