William Morris 'Golden Lily' Lampshade in Galactic Ink

from £225.00

Morris & Co. fabric lampshade with neon-pink fringe

The iconic Golden Lily pattern was originally designed in 1899 by William Morris’s protégé John Henry Dearle. It’s been reimagined in an array of colourways over the years, but Galactic Ink is a firm favourite here at T&T – we just love the decadence and drama it brings. A neon-pink fringe was the obvious choice for this maximalist masterpiece of a lampshade!

Golden Lily at a glance:

  • Morris & Co. Golden Lily fabric in Galactic Ink

  • Two-tone blue braiding

  • Neon-pink fringe

  • Lined in white fabric

  • Works with table lamps, floor lamps and ceiling pendants

Want to make it your own?
All our lampshades are handmade to order and we can tailor the size, shape, trim and tassels to suit your individual style. Please get in touch and we’ll make your wildest lampshade dreams come true!

Fabric & care

We source our fabrics from the best British fabric houses, always choosing materials that tick our boxes for luxury, longevity and light diffusion (aka giving off a fabulous glow!).

All of our shades are treated with fire and flame retardant spray.

Fittings & bulbs

Recommended lightbulb 60W LED in warm white.

Our shades are compatible with both British (BC) and European (EC) fittings. Please get in touch if you have a US lamp base so we can send the correct fitting.

The shade carrier included will work with either a table or a floor lamp. To use it, simply unscrew the metal ring on your base, position your shade carrier and replace the metal ring to secure it in place. Then simply sit your lampshade on top of the shade carrier. If your lamp base is smaller, click the plastic reducer into the shade carrier.

We also include a ‘spider fitting’ so you can use your lampshade as a ceiling pendant. Simply sit your lampshade on the spider fitting and attach it to your bulb holder. If your pendant is smaller, click in the plastic reducer.
